The Asics Gel-Kayano 14 has a special edition in honor of Ayrton Senna, one of the greatest icons of Formula 1. The collection celebrates the legacy of the Brazilian driver, who, in addition to winning three world championships, was a transformative force in the sport, with his tragic death in 1994 leading to significant improvements in automobile safety.
The collaboration includes two distinct designs inspired by key moments in Senna's career. One of them reflects the colors of the McLaren MP4/4 and MP4/5, cars that Senna drove to memorable victories, with details in white, red and black. The other model features a black and gold look, inspired by the Lotus 98T, associated with the driver's iconic helmet, with touches of the colors of the Brazilian flag. These unique details, such as Japanese characters with the rider's name and the “S” logo on the heel, highlight the exclusivity of the collaboration.
