In 2005, an Osaka team led by Shinpei Ueno lit up the nighttime art of Japanese skateboarding. Throughout his travels and 15 years creating the Lenz underground video series, he helped spread the fast-paced style and explorations of color and mood that are now a hallmark of the local scene - and the TIGHTBOOTH®︎ aesthetic. Born out of necessity, the Nike SB x TIGHTBOOTH®︎ Dunk Low Pro is inspired by the freedom of the night on the streets. The textural overlays emulate the metal gratings found and employed during the nocturnal sessions. Reflective Swoosh panels, a co-branded tongue and subtle touches of Safety Orange bring the spirit and synergy of the TIGHTBOOTH®︎ visual identity to the iconic Dunk.
