"Chunky Dunky" is inspired by the ice cream flavor "Chunky Monkey" by Ben & Jerry's, which is made with bananas, nuts and chocolate chips. The sneaker's design features a white plush upper with black and white cow spots, while the overlays are in blue, green and yellow, representing the vibrant colors of the ice cream packaging. The shoe's tongue features a melted Ben & Jerry's, and the Nike swoosh is in blue with splashes of white paint.
The collaboration between Ben & Jerry's and Nike SB was designed to support the non-profit organization Protect Our Winters, which is dedicated to fighting climate change. A portion of the profits generated by the tennis were donated to the organization.
